Four teams have been selected to compete for a $2.4-billion project to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain the LaGuardia Airport Central Terminal Building (CBT), says a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) spokesman. PANYNJ will conduct $1.2 billion in infrastructure upgrades in addition to the project, he says. Curtis Fentress with a model of his 2001 design for the Incheon International Airport in Seoul. Curtis Fentress had just three weeks to come up with a design for Denver International Airport.
